Seven Samurai Title Sequence
Seven Samurai was directed by Akira Kurosawa in 1954,
filmed in black & white was famous for storyline plot and cinematography.
The idea of this project was to create an ideal title sequence of which Akira Kurosawa back then could have done.
I wanted to remain the rawness of the movie which leads my art direction to monochromatic scheme with an accent red.
The characters was extracted from the actual movie and given an sketch effect.
