This minimal clock was designed from two pieces of wood I had from an old workshop. The workshop involved recognizing and overcoming personal barriers. We were told to conceptualize our personal barrier on a piece of wood, present our barrier, and by one swift motion, break the board into two pieces by using our bare hands alone. I had conceptualized time as my own personal barrier and I figured that creating a clock out of the pieces was fitting. The clock now hangs as a constant reminder of what I'm capable of despite my barriers.
