Our company needed an Online 3D Roulette Game that was eye catching, vibrant, and unique. It required High quality 3D assets.

My aims were to turn around graphics of a Roulette table within a month. I had to make the game unique, however, still sticking to the concept and making it visualy easy for the end-user.
I had to think about the developers and the images they require. Each movable element had to be a unique image. 

My first step was to look at the market and see how I could make ours better. Lighting played a big factor. Most existing games and online references show roulette tables with a bright flat lighting no contrast in the table or it is faked with gradients. I wanted the Roulette wheel and the board to be light with a darker contrasting environment to make it stand out well. For the assets I stepped straight into blender and started modeling. I then animated the wheel, seperated each component and rendered out an animation sequence that could be used by the developers to animate the wheel with their web engine.

Logos play a big factor when creating any casino game. You have to put your game title against the rest and try to stand out in a tough market. For the design of the logo, I wanted to integrate the gold rim into the design. The red ribbon stands out due to it's complementry background of the green coloured table.
