The master's thesis, through the conceptual solution of a small-scale boutique hotel, considers the setting of the visual center of gravity on the design and interior design through the transposition and implementation of elements from the Roman period in the area of Dalmatia. The basis of the thesis is the connection between the impression that the newly created, modernly designed space leaves on the users, as well as connecting it with the exterior and the selected locality and the interior design through the application of details and materials related to the history of the selected place. That is, the way in which the formed relationship accepts and elaborates the characteristic objectivities of the locality throughout history and today.
The empirical contribution of this paper relies on the combination of three important elements, namely:

3. Formation of a modern interior based on the previous two elements.
