Maslenitsa is a traditional slavic festival where people say good bye to winter and welcome
spring with parties, music, dancing and tasty food. The main festive dish is a pancake. It represents
the sun and the last chance to enjoy food forbidden during the Lent.
The visuals for this project are inspired by traditional slavic ornaments and symbols
of spring - flowers, martlet birds and solar images, as well as ancient Cyrillic fonts.

The space was decorated with dozens of large round and hexagon light-boxes, hanging in the air.
Two massive arcs were welcoming visitors at the entances, on opposite sides of the line.
Also. flags of colorful ribbons (another holiday's atribute) were placed at the top floor's railings
