The lives of around six million New Yorkers are affected by chronic diseases each year. Many of these chronic diseases can be prevented, because they are related to lifestyle choices that a person makes.
For instance, eating nutritious food, being more physically active and evading smoking can avert an individual from developing chronic ailments. However, many of us are not willing to forsake the cigarette after having a fatty pizza with soda for lunch, just because we have never experienced a serious health condition, and most of the times we believe that we would never experience any.

This project seeks to raise the awareness of what is like to live with a chronic disease, how it can be prevented before it is too late, and how we can help a chronic diseased person.
