Assignment 1: Type Specimen: Print & Motion
The objective of this project is to create a 12-page type specimen book with research and type exploration, along with a 15-sec promotional motion design video and printed booklet. The typeface that I will be exploring is Bembo My design approach is inspired by arches in Renaissance architecture. Below, I explored my design approach with color, form, and type to form arches to bring show Bembo's time period. For the motion design, I stepped outside the clean and organized look of Bembo by making it more fierce and upbeat, just like the album "Renaissance" by Beyonce.
