I recently learned how to make this before and after slider. I thought to use it to present a recent pumpkin study.
As everyone knows it's a bit of a challenge at times to be unique and creative when presenting your work. I have to thank two amazing streamers, among MANY here on Behance, that have, and continue to inspire, encourage, and help my creative journey. Big shout out to Maddy Bellwoar & Shawn Kosel! If you pop into their streams you will definitely understand.
Below, you will see my version from Maddy's latest stream, "Painting Autumn Scenes in Photoshop." There are times where the references Maddy chooses totally inspires me to paint along, at times it's the technique or her approach that draws me to paint. Other days i just get in my own head. That particular stream was one of those days... until the conversation in the chat inspired me to try a quick sketch. Not caring about the final outcome just a quick study, enjoying the flow of the lines and the moment amongst my peers. Once the sketch was done I transitioned into color blocking... and it just kept going from there, before you know it I found myself in a rhythm. So thank you to the chat, it was and is valued! ✨

At the time, it wasn't a thought in my mind that I would be posting this painting / project... UNTIL I learned how to make this awesome slider effect from Shawn Kosel. I've seen it ads before but I was always curious on how it was made. I appreciate the step by step tutorial Shawn! I totally see myself using this more often, Thank you!🤙
