A children’s dose of Tylenol or Advil may be given if your child is still experiencing discomfort the day after an extraction. An ice pack or cold cloth can also be applied to relieve swelling and discomfort. We recommend monitoring your child tooth extraction and check for signs of infection, nausea or vomiting, excessive swelling, fever or other unusual symptoms.
