Environmental Portrait

For my environmental portrait, my partner Morgan decided on going to Starbucks. We went to Starbucks since her daily routine is getting coffee before going to school. So I photographed her in her preferred environment of the coffee shop. I tried many different angles and perspectives. However, I landed on an excellent photo of Morgan facing the camera with her coffee prop. It's a more simplistic symmetrical balance perspective, though I think it's an excellent example of that balance. There's clarity, balance, as well as the beautiful illustration of the Starbucks mermaid behind our subject. I feel that my portrait captures the person's favored environment naturally and interests very well.
