Trésor L. de La Vigne's profile

DIRECTOR, EDITOR, STRATEGIST

Marketing
Content Strategist
Challenge: Assisting the Democracy at Work Institute with their Marketing Strategy for Content Execution.
Action: Researched; synthesized the research insights; strategized and created an execution plan with my team.
Result: The presentation and robust content recommendation handoff were well received by the Democracy at Work Institute; they aimed to implement the recommendations and were impressed with my, and my team's, ability to put together such helpful deliverables in the 3-4 days we were allotted to research and bring it all together.
Director of Marketing & Public Relations
Challenge: Acquiring the role of Director of Marketing and PR for the Harvard University Club HESEC.
Action: When I decided to run for office, I put together material that let the school community know how I would like to serve them, and what I could do for them, then I submitted my application.
Result: I was admitted into the prestigious role and began to get to work right away. Though bureaucracy in the club limited immediate progress for the board, I applied myself and attended all meetings, corresponded, engaged on slack, and partnered with the Director of Events and President for specific Marketing Content. I published content on the Club's social media platforms, composed, proofread & edited Club emails, interacted with vendors to place orders for club swag, and adhered to the Club brand and campaign goals.
Editor of Art & Literary Content
Challenge: I took on the role of Art and Literary Journal Editor for the TPR despite not having any editorial experience; without a manual, and with very limited guidance, and assistance.
Action: I approached the role as I would a start-up. With a willingness to fill many roles, get my hands dirty, overcome challenges, and accomplish my goals no matter the setbacks. I dove into the process with eagerness and passion and began a marketing campaign for submissions right away.
Result: I learned many very valuable skills and had the time of my life. My Co-Editor and I received a record number of submissions and we produced a beautiful, well-put-together, and well-thought-out journal with classic aesthetics and a heartwarming feel. The authors and artists who were published were ecstatic and we finalized our work on the journal with a public unveiling event, where I presented the journal and read aloud, along with some of our published authors, to the college community.
