Being at a design and art influenced site, Maxwell Hawker Centre is envisioned to be a ‘design market’ where its function is no longer consist only dining but various activities set up by the surrounding design and art institution. Utilising the wide demographic range and crowd, Maxwell Hawer Centre is a perfect site for the surrounding design institution to set up pop-up stalls to market themselves. Continue with this notion, Maxwell Hawker Centre takes on a much younger and richer vibe where playfulness and various design elements were incoporated in crafting the unique spaces for the dining and retail experience.
