With a bold and unique style Aisling Aherns work has become a respected brand in the Irish fashion industry. Aislings millinery flair developed in tandem with her architectural studies which is a clear source of inspration upon examination of her work.  With no formal millinery training Aislings dramatic pieces are a fusion of elements from various aspects of her design background. Clean lines are a predominant characteristic within the headwear, shape and trimming approached with minimalism in mind. . Her trademark pieces see the harmonious fusion of structure, swirls and texture where feminity and order are perfectly balanced.The structured, sharp pieces combine traditional millinery materials with innovative and non-conventional materials, resulting in a modern and luxurious feel.
 
Aisling claimed the prestigous title of “Milliner of the Year” at the 2012 Irish Fashion Innovation Awards, ‘Best Hat’ on Ladies Day at the Galway Races and at the G Hotel Best Hat Competitionand garnered Philip Treacy’s approval as she won the inagural “Who Wants to be a Milliner” title. Aisling’s work has attracted media interest as far a field as Hong Kong and is continuing to evolve and excite.
