Choro-Q HG 2 CD Soundtrack

Choro-Q HG 2 / Road Trip Adventure / Everywhere Road Trip
Original Sound Track CD Design

Ever since I first booted up the game I have loved the soundtrack to Choro-Q HG 2 (or as I knew it Road Trip). I love it so much that I decided to design and produce a single soundtrack set on CD for myself. During this process, I was made aware of a radio show feature that was exclusive to the game's Japanese release. I have included the two radio show stations as well, though I am not sure what is going on most of the time. I designed and printed all the artwork and labeled the CDs using a process called Lightscribe. The images you see are of my personal copies and I do not plan on producing more.

Disc One
This disc contains the radio station Peach FM. Peach FM is a mixture of tracks from the Q-Wave station I will discuss later, some skits and discussions, advertisements, and two songs by Japanese band Pink Sardine. This station was only available on Japanese copies of the game.

Disc Two
This disc contains the radio station E-Broadcast. E-Broadcast is mostly talking with occasional tracks from the Q-Wave station and advertisements. This station was only available on Japanese copies of the game.

Disc Three
This Disc contains the Q-Wave radio station. This station is called E-Radio on western copies of the game and contains instrumental funk, electronic, jazz, and pop music with no radio hosting. Some tracks were seemingly composed by Michael Walthius, though it is unclear if he was aware of, or given credit for their use in the game.

Disc Four
This disc contains the semi-fictional Peach Radio Station. In Western copies of the game, the first two stations were replaced by another station carrying the name Peach FM, which featured music sung in English. However, because the game was developed in Japan, I assumed that this naming was an afterthought and because my set includes both versions of Peach FM, I decided to rename it’s western iteration. In game, the radio station in Peach Town is actually called Peach Radio, not Peach FM. Thus I named this station accordingly. The Peach Radio Station contains three songs sung by The Push Kings and one song by The Waking Hours. In addition, I have included higher quality versions of the tracks as the originals, as well as all the audio discussed previously, has been edited to sound like a low quality radio signal.

Thanks for looking, listening, and enjoying.
