I made drawings for and machined these blocks that connect the planetary gear box to the motor and hold them in the suspension assembly.  Half the work was done on a mill, the other half on a CNC mill.

 

My first year with BYU Mars Rover, I designed and machined a wheel bracket and connecting rods for the suspension assembly. Here is the drawing for the wheel bracket, the wheel brakcet after it traversed the Southern Utah sands, and the suspension assembly.
