We designed and art directed the web, print and advertisements for the Texas State Farm® Original Score contest. The elaborate contest invited Texas music educators to create and upload musical compositions by their students to Originalscorecontest.com. Also to solicit votes via text messaging and through social networking sites such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. Submissions are scored on creativity and votes. For our design Original Score contest won a CSS design Award.
State Farm awarded $100,000 in support of music education, as well as media coverage for selected schools. The eye-catching campaign utilizes popular social communication outlets and allows State Farm to engage participants by highlighting Texas’ rich musical history and the need for music education.
