Mini Minders: A Senior Child Mentoring Center is located in the Philadelphia area. The design intent of Mini Minders is to bring together these two generations in an underdeveloped part of Philadelphia. Using the idea of shapes as an organizational tool, I designed a place that is colorful and dynamic. Each room in the space has its own color scheme and shape,which allows for each age group to know if they are in a quiet place, playful place, or a place thery are not to be. The goal of Mini Minders is to create a space where learning is fun and creative.
