Trophy Design and Reveal Video
Monsoon Fiesta is an annual event held at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad campus. Monsoon Fiesta embodies the spirit of being a design student at NID while celebrating traits such as creativity, teamwork, healthy competition, athleticism and sportsmanship. After a 2 year hiatus during Covid, MF was again organized by the students in 2022 for 3 teams aggressively contending for 1 trophy.
MF22 is a part of revival of the NID Culture with all batches of students on campus for the first time after covid
The design of the trophy was based on elements of revival, aggression and growth. The trophy is a single structure which is a legion of individual pieces out of which 5 make up for the base of the trophy to represent the OG 5 teams of MF. The structure progresses upwards with the other pieces showing a sharp and strong growth and transitioning into the ‘MF’ text based on the typeface of the logo. In the structure, pieces of ‘MF’ rain down into the 5 base pieces. The trophy as a whole also embodies elements of the logo (designed by Jasmine Arora, Ashish John Mundu, Arushi Sharma and Aman Kumar)
