Last Message, Iello

Last Message, Iello
Last Message designed by Lee Ju-Hwa and Giung Kim and produced by the board game company Iello.

In it, the victim of the crime has to quickly draw clues on who the criminal is, and the inspectors guess who in the chaotic scene is the criminal. At the same time, there is a player who is the criminal of the round covering their tracks, misdirecting and sabotaging the clues of the victims last message.

No bias intended but It is a genuinely brilliant game and I think the designers are very, very clever. I was asked to illustrate a scene for the game and you can you have a choice to play in a western scene, a zombie apocalypse, on an alien planet or in a superhero scene like mine here.

The characters are deliberately made to confuse the clues and replicate shapes and poses for the gameplay.

Art direction by Florent Baudry
This is a photograph of  some friends playing the game with me. I thought I was being discrete but...
More recently the illustration is to be made into a jigsaw, and I am very excited about that.
