Every year, 36 days of Type invites designers, illustrators and graphic artists to express their own interpretation of the letters and numbers of the alphabet. Each day, you are prompted to design a letter or a number in order to explore typography and its endless visual possibilities.

This is our second participation in this challenge. Creating one letter or number a day for 36 consecutive days is the kind of project we love. Challenges are a big part of our creative process, and our minds seem to enjoy the pressure it creates.

This year we wanted to explore procedural shapes and textures with fine details. We learned so much, and the community's feedback on Instagram was terrific!
