CONCEPT PRODUCT DESIGN / Origami collapsible container for infusion therapies

The origami technique is practically 2000 years old and is useless in medicine. From this challenge, it is proposed to design a product based on the art of origami.

The final design generates a functional product with a minimalist aesthetic. The lines that cross the container make it look like a reinforced and robust product, values that Bormioli Pharma wants to transmit.

While the container is emptied, it begins to fold and, through the internal angles of the fold, the contained liquid moves downwards, avoiding accumulated waste in the folds. Also, it can be hung.

The product is designed parametrically, so its dimensions and volume can be changed without changing its functionality.

As it is not common in medical spaces, it will attract attention in the hospital context, making patients and medical staff recognize the Bormioli Pharma brand.
