AutoBinck identity and website for sustainable mobility

Positioning AutoBinck as a thought leader in making mobility more sustainable.

AutoBinck has spent decades building on its history in automotive and now feels it is time to take a different, fresh path. The road of sustainability and innovation. And with a website that reflects this and offers a stage to the beautiful initiatives that fall under the AutoBinck flag. While retaining the existing logo, we had the freedom and the desire to add a new layer around it. A sparkling online business card.

Photography concept
The photography for AutoBinck is as colorful and energetic as the addition to the identity and paints a hopeful and energetic picture of the future. We show people in their power, in an environment that we must take good care of. Means of transportation are often part of the photograph, but the primary focus is on the human being.

Core values as a backbone
The core values of AutoBinck are of course important for all business choices AutoBinck makes, but they are also strongly integrated in all design choices made along the way. The people and solidarity we see for example back in photography, entrepreneurship in its function as a portal to the various ventures, and innovation and creativity in the freshness of the of the style and animations.

A fresh and sparkling online business card
All style elements in combination with the core values of AutoBinck come together in a lively and energetic website, packed with animations. The website tells the story of the new direction AutoBinck has taken with a style that seamlessly connects to it. The website has also been optimized for mobile phones from the start on, so the experience of the site remains intact, even on small screens.

A seemless user experience on mobile
During the design phase of the project, all rules of the use of the style and interactive elements were defined in a comprehensive styleguide. This ensures a clear transfer to development and helps to ensure consistency and guidelines during future optimization and functionality rollouts.

Modular and smart technical solutions
The website is built on Laravel with Statamic as the CMS. Besides security, this also offers flexibility and modularity. For example, we developed a single module to create all types of headers throughout the entire website. Simple and efficient to use. Both in development and for the client when maintaining the site.

Functional scroll overtakes
While scrolling on the home, the same vertical scrolling motion suddenly scrolls the timeline horizontally in a seamless manner. A striking scroll overtake that feels more natural than she would expect. AutoBinck's rich history naturally also means a well-filled timeline. That's why we built in a button that lets you rush directly through the timeline.

What you nee is what you get
In order to ensure modularity and flexibility during the filling and updating of websites, we started using page builder functionality within Statamic. The combination with the live preview possibilities gives the filler of the site a true insight into what the changes at the back end are doing to the front end of the site, even before a page needs to be published.
