One of the most common ideas for a good photoshoot is to create juxtaposition. To take one thing from its usual context and put it in another will often yield unexpected results, telling something new about both the thing and its new context. At first glance, juxtaposition is what we see in this photoshoot: an elderly model in bright clothes and pink sunglasses. But is it really something so unexpected? Is this woman dressing up as anything? Are there any laws governing what she can or cannot do? The juxtaposition, if it is there at all, is more subtle: it is deceptive, hiding the fact that there is no juxtaposition at all.
