BI-LO.com Re-launch 2010

Working with (e)house Studios, a web design and marketing agency, and our BI-LO's Interactive Technologies department, I lead a re-launch of BI-LO.com in 2010 in order to reflect updated branding, provide more robust content opportunites and enhanced functionality for the log-in area of the site. I worked with these teams through conception and design to launch. I continued to manage the site on a day-to-day basis creating and curating content and graphics for the site. Below is the new home page.
I turned BI-LO.com into a promotional powerhouse. The promotions section of the site was second in traffic only to the weekly ad. At the first re-launch of BI-LO.com in 2007 I began building an interactive promotional calendar encompassing the entire BI-LO 'digital toolbox' inlcuding web, email, social media and our in-store kiosk program. I cross-promoted these online exclusive promotions throughout our interactive platforms as well as in traditional mediums such as print and in-store POP. 
 
As a matter of necessity it became my charge to build an awareness of and create an engagement with these new interactive tools working with and educating internal teams in merchandising, marketing/advertising, sales planning, corporate brands as well as our vendor community. I acted as a interactive consultant as to how the new digital toolbox could support and enhance existing programs and initiatives as well as drive sales through online exclusive events. Below is a snapshot of what a a day in the life of BI-LO.com's Promotions section looked like. 
As BI-LO developed new programs for our customers such as the fuelperks! Rewards and Price Lock programs, a 'Ways to Save' section was incorporated into the site to support these initiatives and to educate our customers about all the savings opportunties in our stores. This section, highlighted below, is but an example of all the ways I worked with internal teams and vendor partners to provide interactive support of ad planning, new programs and co-branded initiatives.
The content capacity of the new site was immense and required more than 4 times the amount of weekly updates needed by the previous site. What follows is an example of a new section added to support health & wellness initiatives at BI-LO with the birth of the thrive! program headed up by BI-LO's first on-staff nutritionist Monica Amburn. I worked with Monica on a weekly basis to keep this new section of the site updated with fresh content and to develop promotional opportunities to support the thrive! health & wellness program through the use of interactive plaforms.
Below is the new home page for the log-in area of BI-LO.com. Enhancements included added functionality for  the shopping list feature and BONUSCARD/ fuelperks! account managment capabilities. Also added was a 'My Recipes' feature where the customer had the ability to save their favorite recipes and add selected recipe ingredients to their personal shopping list.
An image of a page from the new Recipes section is provided below. I worked with a third party vendor to build the recipe database and did seasonal updates highlighting featured recipes and cooking videos on a weekly basis throughout the site and cross-promoted them futher in other interactive platforms such as the weekly ad emaill. Customers were able to submit their own recipes to our site and, upon approval, they would also be added to the recipes database on bi-lo.com.  
Another enhancement to the site was the 'Your Community' section where a local events calendar was incorporated to provide support for the Events/ Sponsorships Marketing team, BI-LO Charities, local Store events and the Catalina in-store ticket sales program I also managed. 
Below is a Sitemap for the re-launched website showcasing its content-driven nature. I was responsible for all aspects of the site including promotional planning, content management, customer service issue resolution, functionality, tech support and analytics reporting on a weekly basis.
