I explored visual hierarchy in poster design. I incorporated visual hierarchy by using different sizes to demonstrate importance. I also used colors to make titles pop out more such as the photographers’ names. I also used different weights of the same typeface to more emphasis on titles and event information. The original design for my Fundamentals of Typography class is on the left. For this portfolio, I decided to create a second design (the poster on the right) and use imagery in the design (something I couldn't do in the original project). I added a photo of a camera and adjusted the text to work around the photo.
