I designed this logo and identity for Grey Matter Productions.
Grey Matter Productions is a film and television company based out of Los Angeles.  Run by producer Lawrence Grey (LAST VEGAS, HOPE SPRINGS) the company launched in 2013. Grey Matter has upcoming film projects at Universal, Sony, Lionsgate.

 

I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create the two variations of the logo (featured above). The complete logo consists of the text "Grey Matter" in BankGothic and a pattern of several "GM" symbols connecting like puzzle pieces to form a brain. The abbreviated logo (to be used for small print materials) isolates the two central "GM" symbols that mirror one another from the complete brain structure.
