A dedication to my grandmother who shaped my artistic personality and moulded my talents since I was a child - this is a series of 15 canvases in the Digital Art medium. The home we grew up in, in Banjara Hills was designed by Mohini - my grandmother and my grandfather made sure that the two houses he built were nothing short of the best representation of the artistic affinities of The Khanna household. Every corner of every room has birthed creation and every wall is home to a work of art that inspired me and shaped my opinions of The Visual Arts.
“Dadi” always loved how unique I was and she taught me how to draw, paint, sing, cook and be proud of the woman I was destined to be. I wish she were here.

I often dream about her walking downstairs and onto my sacred space in the
apartment building I now live in. She would be so proud of how independent I have become.

To think that once upon a time- mama, dada, Anjali and I along with a grand piano and one king size bed- all lived together with Dadaji and Dadi in the room next to ours. How soon we all grew out of our bedrooms and spread across Banjara. Who’d have thought?
