Echo Chamber Effect
I made two illustrations about algorithms creating echo chambers and some of the effects it has on us.
Algorithms only confront us with our own opinions and views – preventing the possibility of reflecting on topics in a comprehensive way.
Only getting confronted with your own opinions over and over again, heightens the risk of adopting extreme views and falling into social groups that promote harmful worldviews.
