BACKGROUND
Linda was a graduate lawyer in M&A when she suffered a facial nerve injury and a severe allergic reaction to botox that triggered a rare autoimmune illness. The experience of managing and overcoming her autoimmune issues, debilitating chronic pain and fatigue through natural health therapies has driven her to develop a nutraceuticals brand to help modern women improve their health and transform their lives.
With her family's 25-year background in the supplement industry and assistance from world-leading nutritionists and naturopaths, she has crafted a range of gummy-based supplements packed with nutrition, backed by science, convenient and tasty.
She partnered with designer Frankie Zek to develop an exciting and playful branding for BetterBare Co. The design is a fresh take on supplement packaging.
THE GUMMY BEAR
After becoming disheartened with medical-looking pills, the team behind BetterBare Co wanted to create a supplement that would motivate people to take care of themselves in a fun way.
Inspired by childhood memories and the brand's name, we worked closely with the manufacturers to create the perfect gummy bear that would reflect the brand's look and feel and resonate with their audience while considering the most efficient solution in production.
PACKAGING
The colourful packaging illustrated for BetterBare contrasts the cold and clinical packaging trends of supplement bottles currently in the supermarket aisle. It is designed for the fashionista on the go, with a sustainable refill option packaged in an ethically sourced makeup bag.
ILLUSTRATION
I illustrated the 20+ ingredients in their products to create seamless pattern repeats to use on the packaging, makeup bags and other applications.
