This was my first idea for a picture of sacred Art, made with ​​lace of Cantù, a traditional Italian work with threads knotted pillow (or rather "tombolo").

This is the lace design, with specifics of ligaments and types of nodes

Bobbin lace of Cantù with cotton thread, dark blue velvet, protective glass, wooden frame in oak wood chiseled by hand and finished with gold and silver sheets - VIRGIN MARY IN LACE CANTU' - 46 x 58 cm.
