Syrian Tale | Show Packaging08/2008
The project was assigned by a new Syrian channel,"Orient Television", based in Dubai. It was made for a programme called "Syrian Tale", the channel was targeting young Syrian viewers,and wanted to introduce the heritage of Syria and Levant area.
The visuals used in the project were taken from elements that represent the identity and culture of our young generation of Arabs and Syrians.The music was recomposed and arranged based on very old Arabic lullabies and anthems remixed into hip-hop and tango music that gives a nostalgic yet modernfeel to the work.
If you are an Arabviewer walking down the street, shopping in old souqs, riding in taxies, you'lldefinitely feel that it's your own tale !
