PROBLEM
Due to COVID restrictions and travel ban, it has been a long time since we went out of our houses to enjoy the beauty of our country’s tourist spots. And one of the many sentiments that has been loud and apparent the past few months, is how people misses these places. An opportunity DOT Philippines saw to boost back the travel confidence in the county.
SOLUTION
As the current situation prohibits majority of us to once again witness and experience the beauty of these places, holding and nurturing the people’s excitement and interest in going back can only be through pictures and videos, as a way for them to feel a bit closer to the familiar fun they once had; for them to know that there’s something beautiful waiting once we are able to travel again.
RESULT
An increase of 184% in engagement, from 58,763 (Nov 2020) to 166, 879 (Dec 2020)
A surge of 2,529% in total link clicks, from 1,631 (Nov 2020) to 42, 880 (Dec 2020)
