BBC Worldwide Showcase 2014: The World's Storyteller
My brief was to design and create a groundbreaking and show-stopping campaign for BBC Worldwide’s Showcase 2014 event, ‘The World’s Storyteller’.
This high-profile annual TV event attracts buyers from across the globe and features big name talent talking about their latest programmes.

I identified that every programme has a narrative flowing through it. So based on this original concept, I devised five striking themes to creatively illustrate the breadth of BBC Worldwide’s content:
Ground breaking, original, exciting, innovative, explosive, action-packed… for brands such as The Musketeers and Top Gear
Fun, entertaining, lighthearted, joyful… for comedy and children's titles such as Mr Sloane and Dinopaws
Sparkling, star-studded, cool… for Robbie Williams’ live event, The BRITs and light entertainment
Fascinating, informative, hard-hitting, compelling, educational, trustworthy... for documentaries, news and current affairs programming such as Louis Theroux
Elegant, beautiful, full of wonder, amazing, astonishing, surprising, adventurous… for natural history and science titles including Monsoon

For this campaign, I was responsible for the design and layout of all the graphics in and around the ACC Liverpool, covering more than 100,000 sq. ft.
From the grand entrance hall and individual screening rooms to viewing booth areas and the grand opening gala night staging; from the 85 metre long wall graphics to the smallest detail on the buyer's lanyards. Every touch point the buyer interacted with was designed to convey the 'The World's Storyteller' message.
