PARAMORFOSI
"Paramorphism: The change of one mineral into another having the same chemical composition but a different crystal structure"
Paramorfosi is a series of conceptual works based around editing and data mashing.
The main idea behind the project relies around the feeling of wander left in the observer by showing him something almost familiar in its appearance but abstractly complex at the same time.
The original image is inevitably lost: our imagination paints new meanings and shapes to give the piece a renewed identity.
In this sense everything becomes one with the infinite possibilities of our own mind.

Reality is like a prism: if we try to look into it our vision gets inevitably fractured. Each one of these fragments it's a possible way to define what we see, a representation: paintings, photography, music...
We are only able to identify the reality around us thanks to our senses.
Paramorfosi is what happens when we stop to use them: everything gets subjective, all combinations are made possible.
