The island of Utila is well known for its wild parties, affordable lodging provided by your dive shop, and training-focused dive centers.  It is much smaller than Roatan, and does not have any cars on the island making for a more rustic island experience.

El Aguila, one of the most well-known dive locations, is a shipwreck that is only a few minutes from the coast and is 250 feet (76 meters) long. It is at 110 feet (33 meters) deep. Despite being split into three sections, the ship's construction is still in good shape, making it possible for photographers to get some amazing images. Eagle rays pass by frequently, and some groupers have made this wreck their meeting place. You must possess your Padi Roatan Advanced Open Water Diver Certification in order to dive at this location.

Reefs in West End

The majority of dive shops and dive destinations are found here.
