I chose the converse because I wanted to try to capture its textures. I stayed with light and neutral colors so that the black of the shoe stuck out. My favorite part was trying out different angles to capture a unique angle of the shoe.

I chose to capture the front of the shoe because I wanted to capture the ridges and pattern that make a shoe a converse. I chose a darker background so that the white of the shoe would stand out.

I chose to capture the shoe as a whole and to capture the different parts of it. I decided to use asphalt as a background to give the photograph a sense of roughness.

I chose the Marigold because it is a unique flower. The flower itself has bright colors and the petals have ruffles that define its shape. The leaves are deep green making the flower stand out.
