Sugo Milano: Brand Identity Design



Sugo Milano is a modern trattoria that is inspired by popular roots and the cosmopolitan spirit of Milan and brings them into the contemporary world. The two great entrepreneurs summarize it with a concept they call "fast fine dining", driven by the belief that quality on the table must go beyond pretentiousness and must be married with authentic conviviality.




DESIGN CONCEPT

'Sugo' is a new fast casual restaurant format with an urban mood that differs from the classic restaurants that have pasta as the main product of the menu.

The format bases its entire offer on the 'orecchiette' product, an iconic dish Apulian, served with different sauces and condiments, in a more practical way for a quick consumption on the spot, even in take-out and delivery.

The idea of the brand is to offer a typical dish of Sundays in the family to the new generations who live their everyday life in the speed of the metropolis. The first store will open in Tokyo, one of the largest metropolises in the world with a strong urban character. Characterized by a strong urban visual component, Tokyo has countless formats and competitors offering a similar product, ramen.

Sugo wants to sneak into the restaurant fabric of the metropolis by bringing the
Italian and Apulian tradition of Sunday to the streets of Tokyo.
