These fingers - not my fingers, this head is not my head

By detaching the head and the hands from the rest of the body, and by isolating the figure from the surroundings by using black clothes and black background, I wanted to convey a feeling of double alienation  -  a person feels/looks detached, disjointed from the rest of the world, but also from itself: even its own body parts are not tied together within one body. Such person could even ask itself: are these hands/arms/legs etc. my own, is this head my own or somebody else's (i.e. has someone else taken control over my thoughts and doings)?
The result is this puppet-like being, that looks as if it's being controlled by someone else, from a long distance.

The inspiration for the title came from a Tears For Fears song The Way You Are (,,These fingers aren't my fingers, these hands are not my hands'').
