About: The Angler lamp is a take on a traditional floor lamp, but with a removable lantern. The concept was developed from the idea that many battery powered lighting products sit around unused for most of their life.
The Challenge: Angler required a full brand design, from logo to web design. They wanted a bold brand that gave a natural, industrial feel. They wanted the brand to emphasise modernism, home comfort and sustainability. It was important for them that the identity showcased this side of juxtaposition but paired with wholeness.
The Process: Anglers identity starts with its logo. I wanted to incorporate the function and name of the product into the designs by experimenting with angular forms. This created a better understanding for how the rest of the identity formed.
