Bird lamp is lights inspired by the figure of a sitting bird. It is expressed in simplified geometric shapes such as long neck curves of birds, triangles of beaks, squares, circles and straight lines. It is a sculpture that focuses on the sense of visual balance between shapes.

Process

Bird lamp designed to create a light with the characteristics of a lyrical line wall-mounted light, the tension of the line, and the tension of the shape. from the beginning of the production, I thought about the formation with the actual production in mind, and it had to be a lighting that could be actually produced in Eulji-ro.

Collabaration with Limas

Bird lamp was created in collaboration with Limas and Liberal Office. Liberal Office is a new attempt at design and design organization developed by SWNA. As the name Liberal suggests, we respect the creative activities of individual designers and introduce design attempts that reflect their individual tastes and individuality. At the boundary between mass production and curation, we develop a design that utilizes a new interpretation of modeling and processing methods suitable for materials.
