Atelier compatibility and sustainability of architectural restoration E studio was dedicated on restoration project of the castle of Montalenghe in north Italy.

The restoration project went into several steps. Using photogrammetric tools, the old building was analyzed and scanned. Then the data was entered and used in several programs such as PointCab Metashape and the CloudCompare, so it became possible to precisely redraw the castle and its farmhouse. Consequently, it was possible for us to redesign and reuse the area and the spaces.

In this studio we went through two lectures, the first is the restoration lecture and the other was about the new technologies for survey and drawing. Through these lectures we were able to understand the old building techniques, preserving techniques, and photogrammetric measuring techniques.
