The thought behind this logo is that it represents a blooming sunflower. The current Dar tal-Providenza logo consists of a hand holding a wilted flower, while in this case the flower is blooming with its bright colours. The yellow petals also resemble the sun's rays which represent the new lease of life it gives to the residents at id-Dar tal-Providenza. The typeface itself is a balance between friendly, smart and innovative due to its rounded features. Since in 2015 id-Dar tal-Providenza will be celebrating its 50th anniversary, I decided to add its established date so that viewers would know that it would be celebrating its golden anniversary in 2015.
