Li-Ning x WAY OF WADE.
The idea behind this collaboration was to create a main artwork for the new collection of the brand marking the 10 year anniversary.
The artwork hosts key elements that resemble the brand in a surreal but yet playful set. Since this was a collaboration with the brand we also incorporated elements that TOMASZEWICZ studio is known for such as the ‘Cabbage Spray’ behaving in ways that we haven’t seen before in our work. It was then split in parts creating new assets that were then printed on specific garments of the new collection of the brand.
The final step was to create an animation. In the animation we travel through this surreal imaginary world where the elements come to life and interact with one another. Towards the end we see the ‘swimmer’ swimming towards the Be A Dreamer sign wearing one of the looks from the collection.
