CHALLENGE
Our client wanted a vintage baseball-themed wedding with modern twists of contemporary typography. We needed to create the experience for the attendees—from the ceremony to the reception—the baseball-themed had to be very present. 

 

SOLUTION
We used an art deco, vintage travel poster illustration style for the invitations and reception cards. We also created the program on fans shaped as foam fingers. The red and blue colors were used everywhere—we got fabric and made bunted flags out of shades of these colors for the ceremony gazebo. The centerpieces for each table were mason jars and vintage-inspired coke bottles with wild flowers in it. The seating cards were designed like sporting game tickets and each table was a different team. We had a questionnaire to keep guests busy during the cocktail hour and guests could also sign the baseball bat and bases as the guestbook.
