White Witch is a specialty spirit brand. The logo design is based around the moth that the company is named for, the “White Witch.” The moth and associated themes were used as inspiration for the logo and concept. In the logo, the moth was a main design element used to head the typographic portion. The type was hand drawn and textured to give a rough, stylized feel. Using the moth and witch portion of the name as a theme, the look for White Witch is old-style, slightly creepy, and eclectic. Potions, apothecaries, swamps, spider webs, cocoons, and old scientific drawings were the main sources of inspiration and referenced often though the design. While an eclectic concept for an alcohol, the design is atypical and draws the viewer in to inspect and could be popular among different audiences and during certain times of the year. While a specialty drink, it is not considered expensive, but has many elements and materials that fans could consider collectable, and tries to draw customers in with immersive specialty packaging.
