    360° campaign for Biarritz Airport

Brief
Biarritz Airport, widely known for world class surf spots, was looking to offer a younger image. More in line with the surf industry and wellness. Challenge : 17 new destinations for summer. Find a leading concept for a campaign that would unify the major outbound destinations. 
 
Answer
We suggested to use a mixed image of a hispter and a surfer with local roots. First draft was a lonely surfer paddling after reindeers and desesparately looking for a wave on a silent lake. We finally chose the alternative plan (more mainstream) of a sleepy Viking.  
"Wake up your Viking soul" or "Free your Viking Soul" is the tagline. 
We wanted to raise destination awareness through targeting with humour a narrow group of 1M1 travellers, spanish and frenchies departing from the Basque County flagship airport.

Execution
A team of free-lancers locally sourced with a lots of help and love of our favorite senior AD from Paris.
