favorite hometown restaurant
Research goals:
○ Goal 1: To find out how intuitive is the design to cater to ordering and
navigation all around the app
○ Goal 2: To understand if gestures and animations are helpful or not
Research Questions
● Were the end users able to find out 3 ways of making a pizza order?
● Were the gestures and animation easy to use and intuitive?
● Were the menu items easy to read and choose from?
● Did the user know and complete the full order flow?
● Did the user understand how to navigate to the following screens?
○ My Profile
○ Chat
○ Settings
○ Offers
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Time measured between order placed and order delivered – time on task
● Rating on each specific order – inclusive of quality and time spent – system
usability scale
● Number of clicks to reach to the order end – user conversion rate
● Time measured between order delivered and order picked up - time on task
Methodology
● Unmoderated Usability Study
● Location: Anywhere online
● Date: Sessions to take place on April 30 and May 1, 2022
● Length: Each session will be about 5-10 minutes each.
● Compensation: No compensation
Participants
● A WFH employee who frequently has busy days at work.
● A customer who generally has parties at home and does bulk order.
● A foodie
● Visually impaired or physically challenged person – to also understand if voice
ordering can be undertaken
● A customer who’s native is not English – to see if icons and imagery can help
through along with language support
● Technologically challenged person – to check if flow of use is easy with icons and
imagery

Before we begin the actual set of questions I would like to welcome you to this
activity and thank you for your valuable time in helping us out. I want to point out
that we would like to record this session so as to replay this for other researchers
and would require your consent to it. No personal information will be shared, we
will keep the questions as minimally invasive.

• Do you live in a neighbourhood where there are a lot of restaurants?
• Do you prefer cooking your own food or buying them from restaurants?
• How often do you find using an online app to order food?
● How do you find the user experience of using Homenu App?
● Could you elaborate on possible pain points you experienced?
● Did you have trouble finding options or how to reach to a certain screen?
● What would you recommend be improved and included in the prototype?
