A video about the process. (my firs video, so be nice)
I have based my project around the old traditional norwegian painting technique called Rosemaling (which means rose painting).

Underneath is a typical old painted item.
The strokes are very curved and rhythmic, with lots of color.  Motifs of flowers and leafs are very much used.
Rosemaling seems like a very playfull technique, but actually there are many rules and spesific styles.

I wanted to explore if this technique could inspire to a
new look and a modern expression.

I then started imitating the painting and played a lot with different types of storkes.

I then imagined how this strokes would look like if it was translated to an actuall 3d object which spreads real flowers the same way as the painting do.

This project was also about branding, so the following is the logo process. It got the name "Bevart" which means "Preserved". This is because some of the tradition my be preserved through this product.
