Project Overview


Veganism has become extremely popular in recent times for the betterment of the environment. Besides health benefits and sustainability, the ethical implication played an important role in veganism growth.  

Tempe Wala was established in 2017 to offer a clean and original Tempe taste inspired by the 2000-year-old Java Tempeh. Tempeh is a rich source of protein, and it is made from fermented soya. The brand wishes to create an identity with which people can connect easily, especially locals. 

The brand also hopes to send a message that healthy food can be fun, cool, and visually striking. As a result, we created and designed an identity that changed the perspective of what healthy food is, especially Tempeh. In this, we have used hand-made text-based logos with personalised elements to connect with locals. We used warm colours for packaging to boost a fresh, clean, bold style.
