Before 1997, Hong Kong was still one of the British Colonies.
Therefore, being a Generation Y, I have a deep childhood memory of using
coins and stamps with the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
Because of my father, I loved to collect those colorful Queen's stamps when I was a kid.
But after the Hong Kong's handover, these stamps and coins had disappeared.
In order to commemorate this beautiful, energetic, vibrant and free period,
arts and handcrafts of the Queen have sprouted up throughout all over the world.
About six or seven years ago,
I worked with a local leather brand to create leather goods about the Queen,
such as these leather stamps and coin-liked coin bag.
I would say that the Queen had and will always be a muse to us.
